SMS Sender

Used for sending SMS-messages to GSM cellular phones. SMS-messages are sent through the Internet using special services. These services are accessed either via special servers or via web-sites of cellular operators.

The only thing you have to do to send a message using the SMS Sender is to enter its text and the mobile phone number, provided you have already configured the sender properties.

Below is the view of SMS Sender window and description of its elements.

Sending Method

The list of available methods of sending SMS-messages to Internet servers supporting SMS.

Phone Number

Mobile phone number you want to send SMS-message to.

Message Text

The edit box you are to type SMS-message text in.

Server

Internet-address of the server that will be used to send an SMS-message.

Port

Number of the SMS service port on the Internet-server. This is an individual property of each particular server. Normally, its value is available on the relevant information page.

User name

User name used to send an SMS-message, if authorization is required.

Password

User password used to send an SMS-message, if authorization is required.
