Rules Debugging

A rules list is used for message processing. When a rule is compiled, it is often necessary to check if it works properly.

AEP contains the following tools to make debugging easier:

• Debug messages
• Debug Alert actor

With debug messages you can check whether a rule works properly without connecting to a mail server.

The Debug Alert actor allows displaying variable values in the messages box or writing them in the Log.
