Debug Messages

Debug Messages are used to make sure that a Rule works properly. Debug messages are not downloaded form mail servers, therefore their processing takes less time than processing of incoming messages does. Except that, there is no difference between debug messages and incoming messages.

Debug Messages are stored in the Debug Messages folder of a Rule. AEP allows processing of a debug messages either with the rule which folder the message is stored in or with all the rules from the list. These commands are available from the Tools menu as well as from context menu of the debug message.

There are two methods of debug message creating:

  • loading from a file
  • incoming message catching

The command of debug message loading is available from the context menu of a rule or of a debug message.
